I did some pruning of some channels that needed to go. I also went down a CRPG rabbit hole and added some relevant channels.
# Removals
Most of the channels I removed were just because I found myself ignoring their videos more often than not. This happens from time-to-time: what I *think* I will want to watch is not aligned to what I *actually* want to watch when the time comes.
I want to call out one removed channel in particular though that *doesn't* fit this mold: Lucky Ghost. His content has always bothered me a bit. It's a little clickbaity and can lack much substances. I subscribed anyway though because not many people are talking about MMOs, and that's a focus of the channel. The most recent video was the final straw for me though. This channel frequently produces advertorial videos and buries the disclosure. I was watching that most recent video which sure seemed like an ad. Looked at the comments and discovered the disclosure was two minutes into the video. Is this legal? You're going to gush about the game for two minutes before you tell me, "oh, by the way, this is an ad?" There's no good reason to bury this disclosure unless you're trying to mislead your viewers. If they haven't already, the FTC should more strictly define what constitutes proper disclosure of a sponsored video.
Others that came off the list for much more benign reasons:
- The Daily Show- Just not watching it much.
- DeepBlueInk- Was subscribed for the MBMBaM animations, and the channel seems to have mostly left those behind.
- Life Where I'm From- Very charming, but I'm getting my fill of Japanese culture content from other channels I find more engaging.
- DistroTube- Did a video recently about "woke"-ism/cancel culture that seems disingenuous. I don't need that in my life, and I'm not as interested in Linux content as I was when I subscribed.
- Valefisk- This content is too memey/screamy for me.
# New Stuff
- [Stoneaxe Tabletop Gaming](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgkaAultW434mSjjAcKoVJw)- This is very relaxing, but I'm also always interested to see how people approach solo tabletop gaming. I find it practical and enjoy being a fly on the wall to witness the process.
- [Noodle](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCj74rJ9Lgl3WTngq675wxKg)- Love the extra touch of original animation in these videos. The content is interesting too, albeit infrequent.
- [Parallax Abstraction](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCasJmGOTdyBUNC5y96_0NQw)- Always looking for indie game reviews. Everyone wants to do let's plays, and I want something tighter to help me decide what to try.

- [Matt Barton](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCE98xefVUXmbvQfe-wNS8oA)- We'll see how long this one sticks around. Seems like a great guy, but his presenting, production, and editing are a little more casual than I usually look for in YouTube content. I like something slightly more polished.
